Considering how little our species really knows or understands about it's own brain, I hardly agree that there is any evidence that suggests videogames are harmful.

In sooth, vids are just as damaging as playing chess or Yahtzee. I don't see PET scans associated with chess, only Call of Duty, Super Mario and Bejewelled.

I don't know about the cookie, soft, fuzzy, lovey, luffs, guns are bad, "let's watch PBS and drink cocoa" extremists, but Chess is Infinitely more violent than Bejewelled.

I am reminded of back when D&D was "satanic". In the Assimilation, you will be spayed, neutered, or deported for being of sub par intelligence. Yes, that's called eugenics.
